Molecular diodes maintain direction
Abstract:
Scientists at the CNRS Institute for Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology in France have made molecular rectifying diodes by a self-assembly process. The devices use self-assembled monolayers of molecules sandwiched between a silicon and an aluminium electrode.
