Novel technique enables magnetic nanopatterns
Abstract:
Scientists from Northwestern University, US, have developed a technique for making nanoscale patterns of "hard" magnetic materials. The method combines dip-pen nanolithography and a sol-gel process, and could have applications in creating high-density storage information systems.
