Bonds strengthened on mechanically linked molecules
Abstract:
For about 20 years, researchers in the field of mechanically- linked molecules have been building supramolecular structures, called pseudorotaxanes, out of cyclic and linear compounds, with cyclic compounds hosting linear guests. The structures are building blocks for improved polymers.
