Abstract:
About thirty years ago the world of surgery was amazed with a sensation: atraumatic scalpels made of ceramics. New instruments struck by their sharpness; postoperative sutures closed up much quicker as the blades had dissected the tissue without traumatizing it. ... They have developed an ingenious method for manufacturing relatively inexpensive zirconium dioxide nanopowder with all necessary admixtures.
