The conference, hosted by the Materials Research Society (MRS) and the Sociedad Mexicana de Materials A.C., is set to take place August 12-17, 2012, in Cancun, Mexico. The stated purpose of the symposium is to bring together experts from academia, national laboratories, and industry to discuss the latest developments in the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured carbon materials, which are specifically geared towards the development of advanced micro/nanosystems and nanoelectronic devices.
