PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL), a premier global provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions, announced today that it has received the 2011 Ringier Technology Innovation Award for the Plastics Industry for its breakthrough Stat-Tech™ NT carbon nanotube formulation.

An independent panel of plastics industry experts selected PolyOne's new specialty material for recognition. The award honors Stat-Tech™ NT materials as an advanced solution that enables customers to differentiate their product offerings, improve operational efficiency and make future innovation possible.
