Iran Presents Products in Greek NANOTEX 2011 Exhibit

Tehran, Iran | Posted on August 4th, 2011

The exhibition was held from July 11 to 15, 2011, with research institutes, companies, and organizations involved in nanotechnology in attendance.

Products and equipments related to nanotechnology were presented from countries like Germany, Sweden, England, France, China, and Korea. INIC also presented the Iranian researchers' achievements in two fields of nanotechnology equipments and nano-based products in this exhibition.

Equipments exhibited by Iran included AFM and SPM microscopes, electrofining devices, spattering, and nanoparticles synthesis. The kid room filter made by Nanopak Persia, Khazra chelated fertilizer by Sodour Ahrar-e-Shargh, silent tubes by Vahid Company, and ethylene absorbents by Zist Pajouhan-e-Khavarmianeh were samples of nano-based products presented by Iran in the exhibition.

Among the Iranian achievements, laboratory apparatuses were mostly welcomed by the visitors.

A number of workshops and seminars were held subsidiary to the exhibition, including workshops concerning nanophysics, nanomaterials, and nanomedicals to teach nanotechnology to the students and several scientific seminars by researchers from Iran, Korea, China, and Greece.

Six faculty members from Tarbiat Modares, Tehran, Mashhad, and Azad Universities gave lectures on topics of nanophysics, nanomaterials and nano-medicines.
