Abstract:
Research and Markets has announced the addition of John Wiley and Sons Ltd's new book "Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy: Analytical, Biophysical and Life Science Applications" to their offering.
Covering everything from new developments in the field to established techniques with a focus on biochemical applications, this monograph shows how to analyze surface characteristics right down to single molecules.
From the contents:
* Theory and practice of available SERS substrates
* Analytical applications
* SERS combined with other analytical techniques
* Biophysical applications
* Microscopic applications and related techniques
Hands-on knowledge for analytical, surface and medicinal chemists, spectroscopists, biophysicists and materials scientists.
Key Topics Covered:
1 Basic Electromagnetic Theory of SERS (Pablo G. Etchegoin and Eric C. Le Ru).
2 Nanoparticle SERS Substrates (Yuling Wang and Erkang Wang).
3 Quantitative SERS Methods (Steven E.J. Bell and Alan Stewart).
