Abstract:
This brings us to the 2009 IdeaFestival (IF), which runs from September 23-26 in Louisville. IF, which was started and incubated in Lexington, provides a unique "space" in which to make connections and explore cutting-edge ideas and game-changing innovation across a broad range of fields from science to the arts and design, and from technology to public policy and education. And if you think ideas aren't important or exciting, think again. All of the amazing things and breakthroughs that enrich our lives every day, from rock-and-roll to space exploration, nanotechnology, Twitter and Google, began as an idea.
