Scope for research in liquid interface: C N R Rao
Abstract:
The director of Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) and scientific advisor to the prime minister, C N R Rao said on Thursday that the subject liquid interface offers a lot of opportunities for research in nanomaterials.
Rao added that studies have already started relating to liquid interface. This can be stated as a significant development in the field of nanomaterials. Scientists should take up challenges thrown open in this field.
Rao was speaking at the inaugural session of an international workshop on Nanotechnology and Advanced Functional Materials' organised by the National Chemical Laboratoty (NCL) in association with Materials Research Society of India (MRSI, Pune chapter) and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER).
