Abstract:
WITec Instruments Corp., the US branch office of the German microscope manufacturer WITec GmbH recently appointed Bob Hirche as its new US Managing Director.
Hirche will be responsible for all sales activities for WITec's high-resolution optical and scanning probe microscope solutions within the US market. He will also coordinate the established network of regional sales representatives across the country and support the growing installed base of Raman, NSOM and AFM solutions. Hirche brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing and distribution of scientific instrumentation in the fields of surface characterization, nanotechnology and microscopy. Present and future customers will benefit from the newly created position as it will accelerate and enhance WITecs sales and service performance.
