Abstract:
The Johns Hopkins Institute for NanoBioTechnology hosts its second annual NanoBio Symposium on May 1 -2, 2008 at the School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. Learn about leading-edge technologies and recent scientific breakthroughs from international experts using nanoscale solutions to solve problems in health care and medicine. Attend a workshop on Nanotechnology for Cancer lead by Hopkins faculty. Visit the poster display featuring research from across Johns Hopkins University, as well as from government and industry.
Thursday, May 1: Nanotechnology for Cancer workshop, Owens Auditorium, Koch Cancer Research Building, 2 -5 p.m. Friday, May 2: Speaker‚s Series, Turner Auditorium, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Poster session, Turner Concourse, 2 - 4:30 p.m.

CALL FOR POSTERS: All registrants may submit a poster (subject to INBT approval). Deadline for poster submissions is April 17, 2008. Attendance is free for JHU-affiliated faculty, staff, students and postdoctoral fellows, but online registration is required. Un-affiliated persons pay a registration fee. Registration deadline is April 24, 2008. Registration forms and guidelines for poster submission are available at inbt.jhu.edu. Sponsorships opportunities also are available.
