India has not missed the nanotechnology bus, but must hurry: Rao
Abstract:
India has not missed the bus and could catch up in the field of nano if more investments and manpower were made available to promote it, according to leading nano scientist, CNR Rao.
Though India lags behind countries like the US, China and Japan in nano science, the country could fuel this field by pumping enough investments and manpower for promotion, he further added.
"We have already made a beginning," Rao, who is the National Research Professor, Chairman, Science Advisory council to the Prime Minister, told reporters on the eve of the two-day Bangalore Nano event to be held in the city.
