Future for High-Paying Jobs is in Nanotechnology
Abstract:
Jobs paying more than $80,000 a year are not easy to come by. Researchers at Wake Forest University believe nanotechnology, and specifically nanomedicine, could bring more than 6,000 such jobs to the Piedmont.
Dr. David Carroll is the director at Wake's Nanotechnology Center. He told Winston-Salem business and community leaders Tuesday nanotechnology-based jobs could transform the city's economy.
