According to a new technical market research report, "Molecular, Nanoscale and Atomic Imaging", the U.S. market for molecular, nanoscale, and atomic imaging was worth $1.6 billion in 2006 and is expected to increase to $1.8 billion in 2007 and $4.2 billion by 2012, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.5% over the next five years.
