PTEN plans 2008 Nano conference
Abstract:
The Piedmont Triad Entrepreneurial Network will host the 2008 edition of its annual N.C. Nanotech Conference on March 26 and 27 at Salem College in Winston-Salem.
The conference will touch on a number of topics related to nanotechnology research but will focus on the status and outlook for nanotech commercialization efforts, according to an announcement.
A preview briefing on the conference included updates on Triad-based efforts at Quartek Corp., a High Point-based research firm, and its NanoAccelerator, which hosts a number of early-stage startup companies. The accelerator firms will be among those highlighted at the conference.
