(OTCBB: APIO) ("API") (the "Company"), a leading supplier of electronic components and nanotechnology research and development to the defense and communications sectors, announced today that its Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Martin Moskovits, was invited to present at the NASA Tech Briefs National Nano Engineering Conference 2007.
This prestigious event is focused on current and future developments in engineering innovations at the nanoscale, as well as the commercialization of nanotechnology. This year the event will be held November 14 & 15th at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. A variety of leaders in the scientific community will be speaking on developments in different fields of nanotechnology. Dr. Moskovits will present on new developments at API Nanotronics in the areas of MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) and nanotechnology. Specifically, Dr. Moskovits will discuss the Company's work with nano-optical components and MEMS based actuators and sensors. He will be showcasing the Company's newly introduced line of proprietary UV polarizers fabricated at the Company's NanoOpto facilities using patented nanowire technology.
