BudgetSensors® announces Soft Tapping Mode AFM Probes

Bulgaria | Posted on August 17th, 2007

This new product will be available for commercial orders in October 2007.
However, FREE SAMPLES may already be ordered via BudgetSensors‚ local distributors and over .

Similar to Tap300 AFM probes, the new Tap150 AFM probes are suitable for soft tapping mode measurements with a lower resonance frequency of about 150 kHz and a force constant of about 5 N/m.

Tap150 AFM probes are available with or without aluminium coating on the detector side of the cantilever, which enhances the laser reflectivity.

Just like all BudgetSensors products, Tap150 probes are characterized by excellent uniformity and reliability. Their pricing is identical to the pricing of the widely utilized Tap300 AFM probes.

"Soft Tapping Mode AFM probes are suitable and necessary for a wide range of applications where regular tapping mode AFM probes don‚t perform well. In the past we have had a number of customer inquiries for this product type and therefore we have decided to complement our range of tapping more probes with the Tap150", said Kamen Nikolov, CEO of the company.

More information on BudgetSensors‚ Tap150 is available here http://www.budgetsensors.com/soft_tapping_mode_afm_probes.html

BudgetSensors is working on more product introductions, which will follow until the end of this year.
