Abstract:
Japanese-language website offers tailored content to registered users
Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) today announced a significant upgrade to its Japanese-specific website, http://www.advanced-energy.co.jp . The enhanced site helps customers find up-to-the-minute product, support, applications and corporate information from Advanced Energy. Driven by analytics and best practices, the site includes exclusive content for registered users. The upgraded Japanese site marks another step in a corporate-wide program to upgrade web-based content, projects and services to AE(R)'s customers worldwide.
Japanese customers can register on the new website and subsequently opt-in via e-mail to receive targeted content. Customers who opted-in via AE's English or Taiwanese sites received the Sputter Spotlight(SM) and the FPD Focus(SM) e-newsletters earlier this year. In addition to application-specific newsletters, registered users can also
subscribe to product demonstrations and technology and market-specific announcements.
"Our ability to listen to and converse with our global customers on the web-in the appropriate languages-accelerates our ability to help our customers," stated Dr. Hans Betz, president and CEO of AE. "The upgraded Japanese website is integral to our initiative to continually improve the velocity, quality and precision with which we communicate with customers."
"Nothing is more important to us than meeting our customers' needs. We are dedicated to responding to customers in the shortest possible time," noted Kunihiko Kitagawa, country manager of AE Japan. "We can now exchange information with customers in a highly convenient manner in real time via our website. In addition, customers can choose to receive content that is of special interest to them."
The updated Japanese-language site complements AE's corporate website in English and AE's Traditional Chinese-language site. All AE websites will be continually refined and personalized to improve the customer's experience.
To fulfill its promise to upgrade web-based content and services to customers worldwide, AE plans to upgrade its German-language website this year, as well as to launch Korean-language and Simplified Chinese-language sites. AE recently launched its Traditional-Chinese website in May 2007.
