BPC Science Medal And C+D Practice Research Award Winners Announced, UK
Abstract:
Dr Molly Stevens and Dr Mary Tully have been announced as winners of the prestigious 2006 Conference Science Medal,* and the 2007 Chemist and Druggist Practice Research Award Medal respectively. The awards will be presented at the British Pharmaceutical Conference (BPC) 2007, on Wednesday 12 September, where the winners will each give a 30 minute lecture on their award-winning research.
The Conference Science Medal is awarded annually to a scientist (in industry or accademia) with a proven track record of independent research and whose published work shows outstanding promise. Dr Stevens, Reader in Regenerative Medicine and Nanotechnology at Imperial College, London, was awarded the Medal in recognition of her work in regenerative medicine, nanotechnology and tissue transplantation.
