The story of a nanotechnology start-up
Abstract:
PharmaTelevision talks to Professor Tom Rademacher a professor at University College London (UCL)'s Immunology & Molecular Pathology Department, and President of Midatech, about the formation of the Midatech, Professor Rademacher's fifth start-up company. Midatech is focused on exploring the possibilities of nanotechnology, particularly for medical therapeutic and diagnostic applications.
Specifically, the company is a manufacturer of biocompatible nanoparticles called nanocells. They possess a number of unique properties that make them ideal for therapeutics, diagnostics and other enabling applications.
