MSU speeding up Phase II expansion of research center
Abstract:
MSU is planning to expand its footprint downtown by accelerating the second phase of the Jordan Valley Innovation Center.
University President Mike Nietzel said work will speed up on the next step of the center where private nanotechnology firms conduct research in space leased from MSU.
Graduate students help in some of the research.
The remodeling of the building will cost $7.6 million and will be financed with federal funds and money from MOHELA, the state's college-loan sales program.
