Dragon star Farleigh joins Oxonica board
Abstract:
Richard Farleigh, star of the BBC programme Dragons' Den, is stepping up his role at struggling technology company Oxonica by joining its board.
Mr Farleigh, who has a 15pc stake in Oxonica, will become deputy chairman and in due course take over from the current chairman, Christopher Moore. He will also help the company try to raise potentially life-saving funds. Oxonica has just £3m in cash.
The company said sales revenues would miss market expectations this year because it lost a key contract with Turkish energy giant Petrol Ofisi.
