SF: More than 100 hearing impaired residents to receive free hearing aids
Abstract:
More than 100 hearing impaired San Franciscans today will be finally be hearing help, according to the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
The hearing aids that will be provided use nanotechnology to provide the "most advanced auditory experience," the foundation reported.
The Starkey Foundation was founded in 1973 in connection with Starkey Laboratories, a company that works to develop hearing aid technology.
