New ORNL director ready for challenge
Abstract:
The Oak Ridge lab has undergone a major modernization effort over the past six years, including new office and research facilities, the $1.4 billion Spallation Neutron Source and world-class centers for supercomputing and nanoscience.
"While we're not done with modernization, we do need to increasingly focus on delivering the science and technology output from those facilities," Mason said. There are high expectations following such a big investment, he said.
