EDGE: Millions needed for NanoCenter
Abstract:
The Marcy NanoCenter site at SUNYIT needs about $20 million in infrastructure improvements, Mohawk Valley EDGE President Steven J. DiMeo said Tuesday.
The site is being marketed to attract a nanotechnology company. DiMeo said the source of funding hadn't been determined.
EDGE, Oneida County's economic development agency, has been granted authorization to begin using the $4 million it was allotted last year in the state budget to begin making infrastructure improvements, DiMeo said.
