Abstract:
Quebec universities will get a big share of $39 million in new grants announced yesterday by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), the independent corporation set up by the federal government to fund research infrastructure.
The funding, based on 207 projects submitted by 42 universities and colleges across Canada, will bolster research in health, information technology, natural resources, nanotechnology and the environment.
