Yadkin firm gets business grant
Abstract:
NanoTech Labs Inc. said yesterday that it won a $100,000 state grant from the One North Carolina Small Business Fund, the only regional company to win an award from the group this year.
The nanotechnology company, based in Yadkinville, will allow NanoTech Labs to continue its nanotechnology research, said Richard Czerw, the company's chief executive.
"The goal is to get a product out, not just to get grants," Czerw said.
NanoTech Labs got $100,000 from the National Science Foundation in January, he said. The state grant matches that federal grant.
