Maryland’s Reactive Nanotechnologies raises $10.5 million
Abstract:
Reactive Nanotechnologies Inc. has brought in $10.5 million of a $17 million Series C raise, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Siemens Venture Capital led the financing. Previous investors Sevin Rosen Funds nad Toucan Capital also participated. It previously also raised $4.5 million in grants from the National Science Foundation to develop additional manufacturing sites and applications.
Founded in 2001, the company makes nano-scale furnaces for soldering. Its NanoFoil precisely control the instantaneous release of heat energy for reaction initiation and joining applications.
