Panelists Include Influential Business and Technology Leaders, Acclaimed Nobel Laureates and Successful Entrepreneurs
Adding to its roster of high caliber keynote speakers including Senator Hillary Clinton, General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt and Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin, PanIIT, the global IIT alumni association, announced today its panelists for this year's 2007 IIT Global Alumni conference. Speakers will include Nobel Laureate prize winner Arno Penzias, University of California President Rob Dynes, John Hopkins University President William Brody, Stanford President John Hennessy, Kholsa Ventures GP Vinod Kholsa, McKinsey Partner Rajat Gupta, Inventus Capital GP Kanwal Rekhi, Sycamore CEO Desh Deshpande, Carnegie Mellon University President Jared L. Cohon, Keynote CEO Umang Gupta, and iGate CEO Sunil Sadhwani. This distinguished group will explore new frontiers of thought and technology, identifying and examining the next trends that will have a broad global impact, such as Web 2.0 and Clean Tech.
"This year's conference is set to be the biggest in its history and we are extremely excited about the participating keynote speakers and panelists," said Dilip Venkatachari, PanIIT President. "We have planned a comprehensive itinerary that provides far-reaching coverage of many current trends presented by prominent leaders and academics, most of whom have a rich heritage with IIT."
Now in its fifth year, the IIT 2007 Global Alumni conference continues to grow and deliver a diverse itinerary including tracks, sessions and panels on topics such as:

-- Collaborative efforts between leading U.S. universities and the IITs
-- What's beyond fossil fuels and the impact of clean energy
-- Culture and identity within the business environment
