Abstract:
Mr. John Banks reports:

We are pleased to report that the Company has designed a new combination re-usable and flushable diaper for using Flushaway™ flushable pads. The new design is a significant enhancement on a combination re-usable and disposable design available in Asia, and other places around the world, and will go through some initial production reviews and user tests to validate the design while a patent application is prepared. Flushaway™ replaces the disposable component with a flushable pad and has significantly improved on the design to provide better performance and an eco-friendly product. The Company is considering several groups to manufacture the re-usable component of the diaper.

The Company is in discussions with several groups in India, Asia and other countries to strengthen production and delivery of Flushaway™ pads and liners. Solutions have also been identified to resolve the current production stoppage and restart. The Company believes it is close to restarting production in the near future.

Tests and amendments to the Flushaway™ nanotechnology film are continuing. Performance concerns of some of the formulas tested have been reported to the R&D team at Quartek and enhancements are being made. As further key milestones are achieved the Company will notify the market.

Inventory levels at both the store and distributor level are low. To ensure no shortfall in the supply chain, the company may produce product using the older version of the Flushaway™ formula.

Discussions with API are continuing and are broadly on track. There is a possibility of some delay to concluding the contract.

Lastly, the company has stopped taking in private placement funds and is finalizing the documentation to be submitted to the TSX Venture exchange for approval.

Flushaway™ pads and liners are now carried in K-Mart in the US, and Coles and Priceline in Australia. Product is also available in South Africa, the US Marines Corps worldwide and Bonjour in Hong Kong.
