Next generation to fire nano
Abstract:
Mr Neild, who is visiting Australia for the Borderless World Conference, is a "disruptive futurist" and co-author of BT's Technology Timeline.
This startling compilation of possibilities extending to the year 2075 is deliberately thought-provoking, and is frequently used to kick off brainstorming sessions.
"In the next 60 years, nanotechnology and biotechnology will have impacts on our lives that might seem like magic to us, but will be quite normal to our children's children," Mr Neild said when the 2005 timeline was released ( http://www.btplc.com/Innovation/News/timeline/ ).
