Abstract:
Tracy Dellinger has been named Portfolio Manager for Piedmont Triad Entrepreneurial Network (PTEN), effective immediately. As a portfolio manager, Tracy will be working directly with PTEN's Growth Accelerator Program and PTEN's Capital Connects! events to expose entrepreneurs to investors. In addition, she will be working with "middle market" expansion firms to help develop high-growth, high-impact companies within the Piedmont Triad.
ormerly a business consultant with Northwest Piedmont Workforce Development Program in Winston-Salem, Tracy has considerable experience in leveraging resources in the community to provide value-added services to companies in the Triad area. She previously has served as an account manager for both Computer Credit, Inc. and QualChoice of North Carolina, Inc. in Winston-Salem. Dellinger is a 1996 graduate of Forsyth Technical Community College with an A.S. in Business Administration. She graduated in 2002 from Salem College with a B.S. in Business Administration. Currently, Dellinger is a licensed Life and Health Agent and an authorized Job Profiler through the ACT WorkKeys System. "Tracy's experience as a business consultant who has forged a number of partnerships among businesses, economic developers, government agencies, along with her strong background in business assessment and resource matching made her an ideal candidate to assist the many entrepreneurs we nurture annually," said Jon Obermeyer, President and CEO of PTEN. "I am confidant that she has both the talent and desire to facilitate growth for PTEN's entrepreneurs." Previously, Dellinger assisted businesses in six North Carolina counties in obtaining grants and funding for Incumbent Worker Grants, On-The Job training, Customized Training and a Try-Out Training Apprenticeship Program with numerous Triad employers.
