The PC guy: Printers of the future
Abstract:
I'm not sure where the limits to 3-D printing will end. When you get down to it, everything we see, feel, touch is composed of an infinite number of elements, and they all can be broken down into molecules and ultimately atoms. Will the merger of nanotechnology and rapid replicating processes someday allow us to reproduce virtually anything, limited only by size?
I don't know the answer, but what I am sure of is that the one thing technology never fails to generate is surprise. Of that, there is plenty more to come.
