Rigaku's Tom McNulty Appointed Vice President of Materials Analysis

The Woodlands, TX | Posted on May 16th, 2007

The analysis of materials and nanomaterials to determine structure and elemental composition is the unifying concept that brings these product lines together. "The new business unit will concentrate on customers' structural and elemental measurement needs rather than on the products, and will allow customers who need this information to have a number of techniques at their disposal from a single business unit, from a single vendor," McNulty said. Materials analysis instruments from Rigaku range from benchtop devices, such as the MiniFlex™ II, SCXmini™ and Primini®, targeted at researchers who use X-ray techniques as part of their toolbox of techniques, to high-end instruments with advanced analytical capabilities.

Prior to joining Rigaku as Director of Materials Science in January 2004, McNulty was a product manager for Philips Electronic Instruments and Vice President of Commerce at Bede Scientific. He obtained both his Bachelors and Masters of Arts in chemistry from the State University of New York.
