Abstract:
"We see India moving from low-cost outsourcing destination to a destination for quality, timeliness and value added services in the outsourcing market," says Mahesh Sawant, programme manager, healthcare practice, Frost & Sullivan - South Asia & Middle East.
"After CRAMS, the next area will be ‘biomedical devices' and contract technology research in healthcare applications of nanotechnology. These are unique areas for India as we have the correct blend of technology and medicine," says Jayesh R Bellare, professor, department of chemical engineering at IIT.
