NC Nano Medical Institute could mean economic development
Abstract:
The discovery of a cure for cancer could happen right here in North Carolina.
It's the focus for what will be called the North Carolina Nano Medical institute in Winston-Salem, a center that will use the latest in bio-engineering: Nanotechnology.
But the institute could also mean a major economic boost for the entire state.
The new technology is making strides in cancer, regenerative medicine, and heart health. And it's not just a fancy word.
