NanoViricides’ stock leaps 8%
Abstract:
NanoViricides Inc. saw its stock jump 8 percent Monday after the company announced positive results of recent tests of its antiviral drug designed to treat bird flu.
The stock, which trades on the Pink Sheets market as NNVC.pk, rose 9 cents to close at $1.19 a share Monday.
NanoViricides, based at 135 Wood St., recently carried out in vitro testing of its FluCide-HP — an antiviral drug delivered by nanotechnology — in Vietnam.
