MOBILE HANDSETS
(1973-2016)
WITH the development of nanotechnology, bulky gadgets that take up loads of space in our pockets will soon be small enough to be stuck on to our skin - and powered by body heat.
By the next decade, handheld mobile phones will be replaced by tinier phones stuck on our wrists, says BT futurologist Ian Pearson.
