Institute could bring jobs, officials say
Abstract:
Local officials said yesterday that the proposed N.C. NanoMedicine Institute could help create about 6,000 technology jobs over the next 10 years.
The proposed institute is a joint effort between Wake Forest University, Forsyth Technical Community College and Winston-Salem State University. It will be a medical testing facility to help develop nanotechnology products and help companies get federal approval for their nanotech devices.
