Brazilian industry holds congress to discuss innovation
Abstract:
oday (23), at the Hilton Hotel, in the southeastern Brazilian city of São Paulo, the 2nd Brazilian Congress for Industrial Innovation will kick off. Promoted by the National Confederation of Industries (CNI), the meeting will showcase advances in the segment, and discuss new pathways for growth and innovation.
The opening ceremony, to be held tonight, will be attended by ministers Sérgio Rezende, of Science and Technology, and Miguel Jorge, of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, as well as directors of the CNI and of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp), and representatives of the government of São Paulo.
The congress will go on until Wednesday (25) and will feature, in addition to discussion forums, stands where national industries will showcase their advances. During the congress, among other issues, renewable energies and nanotechnology will be discussed.
