Abstract:
NANOTECH BASIC TO BE TAUGHT
The Canadian Auto Workers union is moving from the factory floor to high technology for an upcoming conference.
CAW Local 1520 and the University of Western Ontario are co-hosting a day-long event looking at the benefits and risks of nanotechnology. Nanotechnology are small particles used in many different applications, including manufacturing and health care.
The conference will be held May 5 at Western and is for working people with little or no knowledge of nanotechnology. There are now more than 400 products on the market that contain particles so small an electron microscope is required to see them.
Registration is $5. For more information, including a list of speakers, log on to http:// nanotechnologysymposium.com/
