New Russian Armament to Rely on Nanotechnology

Abstract:
Russia is currently concentrating material and human resources to produce arm systems based on nanotechnologies, President Vladimir Putin said.

Speaking before experts attending a scientific conference at the Kurchatov Institute, in Moscow, Putin added that it is necessary to develop and apply these conceptually new strategic technologies that will be crucial for new highly efficient offensive and defensive communication systems and military resources.

The State will spare no resource to progress in this field of increasing demand in industry, medicine, transportation, space and telecommunications, he stressed.
