The Johns Hopkins University's Institute for NanoBioTechnology (INBT) will be hosting a symposium in Baltimore, Maryland on April 27. With funding from NIH, NASA and NSF, the Institute was established to revolutionize health care and medicine by bringing together internationally renowned expertise in medicine, engineering, the sciences, and public health to create new knowledge and groundbreaking technologies. The April symposium will focus on: Diagnostics & Therapeutics, Health and the Environment, and Cellular and Molecular Dynamics. Speakers include Piotr Grodzinski PhD (Director, Nanotechnology for Cancer, NCI, NIH), Gunter Oberdorster, PhD (University of Rochester) Dennis Discher, PhD (University of Pennsylvania), David Mooney, PhD (Harvard University), Wendy Sanhai, PhD (FDA), Gregory Downing, PhD (NIH), Michael Sheetz, PhD (Columbia University), and Gang Bao, PhD (Georgia Institute of Technology).
