Sunscreen manufacturer coming to Lawton
Abstract:
An Edmond based nanotechnology firm said Thursday it plans to open a sunscreen manufacturing plant in Lawton beginning in November.
NanoBioMagnetics CEO Charles E. Seeney told the Nano Focus Convention in Oklahoma City that a subsidiary company, Xeta Comp, would begin manufacturing a sunscreen this November.
"There is a need for a broad spectrum UV sunscreen," Seeney said. "We need sunscreens that provide us with a broad spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays."
