Home > Press > Technology Shines at 2007 New Jersey Venture Conference; 'Best in Show' Winners Announced
Abstract:
The Palace was the backdrop for technology's royalty last week when the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC) crowned the "Best in Show" at the 2007 NJ Venture Conference.
The annual daylong event drew a crowd of more than 600 entrepreneurs
and investors looking for the next great deal and over 60 companies from
various sectors including life sciences, IT, energy/environment,
communications and entertainment ready to show off their exciting
technologies.
The NJTC offers a host of premier financing conferences throughout the
year, but according to NJTC President and CEO Maxine Ballen, the Venture
Conference is one of the Council's most exciting events. "This is the event
I look forward to all year long because the exhibiting companies and the
investors who come out to see them are a testament to the NJTC's work," she
said. "We strive to create a business climate where technology can flourish
and the Venture Conference is a day when we are able to see the fruits of
our labor as a community."
