Good things come in pairs
Abstract:
Wendth said the increase in research jobs at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany, at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy and at a host of large, mid-size and small research-focused companies is creating a growing base of jobs for spouses to mine for work.
Pinpointing the exact number of power couples who have taken research jobs in the region is difficult.
Steve Janack, director of communications at the Nano College, could not say how many of the researchers drawn to Albany NanoTech had husbands or wives who landed jobs in their own specialties.
