Leaders seeking to cash in on nano business
Abstract:
Can small things bring big bucks to Northeast Ohio?
The region's nanotechnology leaders assembled in Akron this week to brainstorm that topic.
There was widespread agreement among some 60 members of the young ``Nano-Network'' that of the three ingredients needed to make Ohio a hub for research and commercialization in their field, the one that's prolific in Northeast Ohio is ideas.
But more money and people are needed to accelerate the growth here of nanotechnology, a catch-all definition for companies that engineer products no larger than a human hair.
