Helena students fourth in state science derby
Abstract:
More than 30 competing teams from all over Montana worked on real-world problems themed around nanotechnology.
Students constructed and programmed their Lego "Mindstorms NXT" robot to complete nine missions.
One mission, for example, called "smart medicine," requires the robot to release a ball containing "medicine" into a specific location on a table location identified as a person's "arm."
