Happenstance led to Arizona's $1.4 billion push for biosciences
Abstract:
Expanding agricultural research.
• Examining and manipulating particles at the smallest level, an area of study known as nanotechnology.
Still, the state faces competition from other states and countries that are investing hundreds of millions of dollars in the biosciences for their promise of high-wage jobs, medical cures and innovation.
